Job summary

Responsibilities include inspections, equipment repairs, and compliance with regulations. A strong mechanical background, ability to read blueprints, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills.
• Proficient in the use of various hand tools.
• Familiarity and experience diagnosing mechanical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs and other diagrams.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Operator qualifications and may require certifications for specific duties.
• Strong focus on safety and completing tasks without accidents.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, service and maintain valves, pipes, and pipeline appurtenances and equipment.
• Maintain facilities and equipment including pipeline right-of-way.
• Assist in planning equipment shutdowns, maintenance and outages.
• Oversee work by third parties and monitor 811 tickets.
• Inspect contractor work and perform pigging activities when necessary.
• Conduct government compliance activities and inspections.
• Start/stop equipment within defined parameters.
• Develop project scopes and work plans.
• Communicate with landowners, officials and public meetings.
• Ensure safety and environmental concerns are addressed.
• Maintain records for budgets and expenses.
• Complete documentation and adhere to standards and requirements.
