Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and interpret system maps.
• Minimum two years of experience in natural gas, damage prevention activities, service, construction and maintenance, and/or pipeline operations.
• Must obtain and maintain minimum Operator Qualifications (OQs) and complete required safety training within six months.
• Requires valid driver's license per Company standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to utilize Company systems for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark company facilities (transmission, distribution, service lines).
• Read and interpret system maps and ensure accuracy of maps and records.
• Coordinate with Company crews and outside contractors for re-marking as needed.
• Conduct investigations of natural gas facility damages to determine root causes.
• Report damages and safety or encroachment issues to resolution; maintain accurate records.
• Support other operations functions and perform C&M and service work when not on damage prevention duties.
