Job summary

Southeast Connections, LLC is hiring a skilled Operator to perform construction and maintenance on gas distribution and underground utilities. You will operate heavy equipment, load materials, and assist in daily project tasks while following safety protocols and company standards.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience operating multiple pieces of equipment. This is an on-site role with physical labor and variable shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating multiple pieces of equipment.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction and maintenance tasks in gas distribution and underground utilities.
• Operate heavy equipment (backhoe, excavator, plows, trenchers) as directed by foreman.
• Ensure work complies with installation standards and safety protocols.
• Promote safety and properly prepare sites for construction activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment; report defects.
