Job summary

Southeast Connections, LLC in North Carolina is seeking skilled construction and maintenance workers for gas distribution projects, underground utilities, and gas service lines. You will operate backhoes, excavators, plows, trenchers or directional bore machines to install, remove or maintain underground utilities and pipe, and interact with the public on job sites.

Education: HS diploma or GED. Experience: ≥3 years operating heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 years operating experience required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL
• Gas construction experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as backhoe, excavator, vibratory/static plows, trenchers, or directional bore machines to install, remove or maintain underground utilities and pipe
• Load and transport materials and equipment; secure job sites and equipment at end of shift
• Place, remove or maintain underground utilities per direction; work around the public on job sites
• Follow all safety policies and procedures per company standards
