NiSource Inc. is seeking a Clearance Analyst to support safe, reliable natural gas operations by evaluating the operational impacts of planned and emergent work activities.

You will partner closely with Gas Control, Engineering, System Planning, field operations and project teams to assess risks, coordinate outage readiness, and support informed decision-making.

This role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, analysis, and continuous improvement in planning, readiness, and execution.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in utility operations, natural gas operations, Gas Control, or related technical environments.
• Experience evaluating operational impacts, risks, or outage planning activities preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct operational impact assessments for planned and emergent work activities.
• Evaluate outages, isolation strategies, execution risks, stakeholder impacts, and mitigation requirements.
• Review engineering and operational documentation to identify risks, conflicts, and readiness concerns.
• Coordinate operational planning and outage readiness activities with Gas Control, Engineering, field operations, project teams, and external stakeholders.
• Support operational decision-making during abnormal operating conditions and emergent events.
• Review contingency plans, emergency isolation strategies, and operational preparedness activities.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment throughout project execution.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to planning, training, tools, and operational processes.
• Provide guidance and support to analysts and coordinators on impact analysis and work-readiness practices.
