Job summary

WEC Energy Group is seeking an Operations Specialist Gas in Chicago, IL to support field operations from an office setting. You will monitor compliance workloads, analyze data to forecast needs, create work orders, request permits, and provide daily support to field personnel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years – Standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• 5+ years – Identifying and implementing solutions to problems
• High School Diploma, HSED or GED

Responsibilities

• Works across the company functionally to meet internal and external customer needs to help support field operations
• Support operations and capital workloads and projects within an office setting
• Monitoring workloads to satisfy customer service requests and compliance requirements
• Analyzing data and forecasting
• Supporting Service (above ground) and Distribution (below ground) workloads
• Creating work orders and assigning to field personnel
• Requesting permits
• Updating of company systems
• Direct line of support to field personnel
• Coordinating with shop management
• Navigates and utilizes various customer information and operational systems to input, update, and change customer or system related information
• Performs a variety of tasks and assists shop management to complete multiple assignments, projects and campaigns
