Job summary

RECONN is seeking a Utility Inspection Technician to check gas meters for leaks and corrosion, ensuring all paperwork is completed. This daytime, full-time role may require weekends and overtime, with instructor-led training provided.

You will report to your work area on time and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Proficiency with basic technology, strong communication, and the ability to read utility maps are essential, along with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Drug screen clearance required due to safety-sensitive role.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect gas meters for leaks and corrosion and complete paperwork.
• Identify abnormal conditions and report findings to the work area.
• Fill forms accurately; adapt to electronic or paper formats.
