Job summary

Tallgrass seeks a Measurement/Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, and ensure accuracy of natural gas measurement and control facilities. This includes flow computers, chromatographs, regulators, and various meters. Expect after-hours call-outs and potential overtime depending on location.

The role requires strong math, knowledge of measurement standards, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic controls, with proficient MS Office skills and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Knowledge of gas measurement and data handling.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain & operate measurement equipment.
• Detect measurement errors and correct volumes as needed.
• Monitor facilities to ensure accurate measurement and data quality.
• Perform audits of custody transfer and control data.
