Job summary

TotalEnergies is seeking a Manager, Middle Office Risk & Controls in Houston to lead a team of 3–5 analysts overseeing independent position, P&L, and risk reporting for North America trading activities. You will partner with Front Office and risk teams to deliver insights, ensure compliance, and strengthen controls in a fast-paced energy trading environment.

The role requires 5–7 years in commodity risk or mid-office, with a track record of leadership, strong quantitative skills, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• 5–7 years in commodity trading or risk management.
• Experience supervising a small analytics team.
• Knowledge of VaR, risk reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Middle Office Analysts to deliver accurate risk reporting and oversight.
• Oversee daily position, P&L, and risk reporting for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with trading authorities, risk limits, and internal controls.
