Job summary

Hydromax USA is seeking a Gas Leak Survey Technician to join our Denver-area field team. You will work with local utility operators to survey natural gas infrastructure using sensitive detection equipment, focusing on safety and data accuracy.

This frontline role is outdoors and requires performing surveys across varied terrains in all weather. You will record field data, maintain equipment, and communicate safety information to customers, with growth opportunities through training and

Qualifications

• Education and licensure requirements including a valid driver’s license.
• Technical aptitude with smartphones/tablets and GIS software.
• Ability to walk long distances with equipment and work outdoors in all weather.
• Compliance with safety and DOT drug/background checks.
• Ability to complete Operator Qualification testing during training.

Responsibilities

• Detection & Evaluation: conduct leak surveys using specialized equipment.
• Classification of leaks per guidelines and documented field data.
• Documentation: enter data into handheld devices with accuracy.
• Safety Reporting: report abnormal conditions to the utility operator.
• Public Interaction: communicate safety information to customers.
• Asset Management: calibrate and maintain survey equipment.
