Job summary

DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE) is seeking a Gas Project Engineer to contribute to civil engineering for natural gas infrastructure projects. You will manage design, engineering, permitting and approvals, with field-based activities as needed. A 1-2 year background in gas/utility design is preferred, along with AutoCAD and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience in natural gas or utility design.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and staff.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• EIT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of civil engineering for natural gas infrastructure projects.
• Manage the design, engineering, permitting and approvals necessary for all projects.
• This Engineer can also expect to perform field-based activities as necessary.
