Job summary

We Energies is seeking a GIS Specialist (Gas) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role supports Gas Operations by creating maps of underground distribution facilities and maintaining data accuracy for public safety and system integrity.

The position includes handling construction and maintenance work orders, archiving required documents, and coordinating with field technicians to resolve issues across all gas areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of GIS or CAD work experience in the past five years.
• OR one year of GIS or CAD work with four GIS courses completed in the past five years.
• OR a GIS Technology certificate or six GIS courses completed in the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain maps showing underground gas distribution facilities.
• Analyze maps for accuracy to ensure public safety and system integrity.
• Administer archive for legally required documents.
• Cover all We Energies gas areas.
• Receive, analyze, and process construction work orders, maintenance/repair orders, service and meter maintenance orders.
