Job summary

Precision Pipeline Solutions is seeking a Gas Fitter to perform installation and maintenance of natural gas facilities under a gas foreman. The role involves intensive physical labor, hand digging, and operating construction equipment, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Gas Fitter (A-Technician): Minimum of 2 years gas experience.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.
• Must have the ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push and/or pull, twist and make repetitive hand movements.
• Effective communication skills and ability to speak clearly with team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew with the construction and installation of natural gas mains and service lines utilizing various pipe joining methods.
• Maintain a high level of expertise in the installation and repair of underground gas facilities.
• Operate construction equipment such as Dump Trucks, Loaders, Tampers, Air Compressors, and Fusion equipment.
• Must maintain the cleanliness of all company owned and rented vehicles/equipment that you operate, with fluids checked prior to operation and greased daily.
• Thorough knowledge of hazards around natural gas and safety precautions.
• Coordinate with project manager/foreman to complete tasks successfully.
