Job summary

Precision Pipeline Solutions is hiring a Gas Fitter to perform intensive construction labor around underground natural gas facilities. Duties include digging, backfill, trench work, and installing/maintaining gas mains under supervision, with a focus on safety and quality.

Training is provided and travel within PPS territories may be required. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00–3:30 with OT potential; benefits include health, 401k with match, and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Gas Fitter (A-Technician): Minimum of 2 years gas experience.
• Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
• Must have the ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push and/or pull, twist and make repetitive hand movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew with the construction and installation of natural gas mains and service lines utilizing various pipe joining methods.
• Maintain a high level of expertise in the installation and repair of underground gas facilities.
• Operate construction equipment such as Dump Trucks, Loaders, Tampers, Air Compressors, and Fusion equipment.
• Must maintain the cleanliness of all company owned and rented vehicles/equipment that you operate; fluids checked daily and grease applied as needed.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations set forth by PPS.
• Coordinate with project manager, superintendent, foreman or other laborers to complete tasks successfully.
