Job summary

The NAES Corporation is hiring a Control Room Operator for the Dogwood Energy Facility near Pleasant Hill, Missouri. You will monitor a 625 MW natural gas combined-cycle plant, perform startup/shutdown, manage alarms, logs, and plant records, and support safety and regulatory programs. This full-time on-site role requires rotating 12-hour shifts, up to extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

A valid U.S. driver’s license and strong safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive power plant operations experience, especially control room management.
• Strong safety and environmental compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lead and develop team members and coordinate with maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, operation, and shutdown of all plant equipment.
• Monitor plant systems and respond to alarms and grid requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, records, and plant documentation.
• Coordinate with team for troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Participate in staff training and shift handovers.
