Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. seeks an immediate part-time Fill Plant Operator for our Tullahoma, TN facility.

The role involves manufacturing compressed gas and liquid products, pre-fill inspection of cylinders, filling, labeling and quarantine analysis prior to shipment. Responsibilities include following SOPs, inspecting cylinders, labeling, paperwork accuracy, and regulatory compliance with cGMP, HazMat and OSHA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to read and interpret gauges and analog dials.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders.
• Forklift skills preferred.
• Must be able to lift 75–100 lbs.
• Detail-oriented, flexible and able to work with others.
• Must work in a safety-conscious manner with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all SOPs.
• Ensure manifold meets required specifications daily.
• Ensure all cylinders pass pre-fill inspections before filling.
• Fill cylinders as outlined in the SOP.
• Move compressed gas or liquid cylinders.
• Label cylinders correctly.
• Complete and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Comply with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA and other regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
