Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. is hiring a Fill Plant Operator at our Indianapolis facility to manufacture compressed gas and liquid products, including pre-fill inspections, filling, labeling and quarantine.

You may also move and store cylinders and load/unload for transport, with safety and regulatory compliance at the forefront. The role requires reading and following SOPs, operating equipment, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to read gauges and analog dials.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must perform duties safely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all SOPs.
• Ensure manifold meets required specifications daily.
• Ensure cylinders pass pre-fill inspections prior to filling.
• Fill cylinders as outlined in the SOP.
• Move compressed gas or liquid cylinders.
• Correctly label cylinders.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
