The Field Technician is responsible for balancing the landfill gas well field. The technician will be trained in the use of a gas chromatograph to perform their tasks. Responsibilities include recording flow, temperature, and composition readings of each gas well into a well field program and emailing daily updates. The technician must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and Word, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively complete daily duties. Other tasks may be assigned. The technician reports to the Well Tech Supervisor.
Applicants should have knowledge of basic hand tools, be efficient with internet and office software, be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. The role involves walking in adverse conditions and operating an all-terrain vehicle. This is an on-call position.
