Job summary

We Are Zenith is partnering with a leading UK renewable energy supplier to recruit a Time Served Electrician. The successful candidate will perform electrical wiring and installation work on boiler systems within occupied properties, attend boiler breakdowns, faults, and repairs, and provide guidance on gas safety and energy efficiency.

The role requires ACS Gas Qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge essential, wiring and fault finding on boiler systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Demonstrates high standard of workmanship and problem-solving attitude.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Attend boiler breakdowns.

We Are Zenith is proud to be working with one of the UK's leading renewable energy suppliers who are looking for a Time Served Electrician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical wiring and installation works relating to boiler systems within occupied properties.

Job description:

• Attending boiler breakdowns.
• Fault finding and repairs.
• Install or repair heating system pipe work.
• Give customers advice about gas safety and energy efficiency.
• Undertake works in accordance with current Gas Safety Regulations, H&S regulations.
• Prepare and maintain records of completed work.

Person specification:

• Must have ACS Gas Qualifications.
• Full UK driving license.
• Must hold a valid right to work in the UK.
• Must have a very high standard of work and be able to think for themselves.
• Must have a good attitude and be comfortable dealing with customers.
• Electrical knowledge essential, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers.
• Be flexible, responsive and proactive towards workloads.
• Repair experience essential.
• Must be confident and have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have or be willing to do a basic DBS check before starting employment.
