Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Gas Servicing Technician for a 3-month contract with a local authority in the United Kingdom. The role covers gas maintenance, repair, testing, inspection, and installation across residential housing stock and corporate properties.

You will support responsive repairs, planned maintenance programs, void properties, and emergency call-outs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. 37 hours per week with flexible arrangements for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Current Gas Safe Registration is required.
CCN1 Core Gas Safety Qualification is required.
CPA1, CKR1, CENWAT1, MET1, HTR1 qualifications required.
Range Cooker Qualification and Unvented Hot Water Qualification are required.
Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
Commitment to maintaining professional competency through ongoing training.

Responsibilities

Perform gas servicing, maintenance, repair, and installation in line with work specifications and regulatory requirements.
Complete responsive repairs, emergency call-outs, planned maintenance, testing, inspections, and void property works.
Diagnose faults and repairs on gas appliances and heating systems.
Ensure all work adheres to Gas Safety Regulations and safe working procedures.
Accurately complete certification, inspection reports, and job records using mobile technology.
