Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a skilled SHOP TECHNICIAN to perform maintenance and repair on gas engines and compressors at customer sites. You will work standard hours with potential on-call rotations, using Cat ET, Cat SIS, Waukesha ESM, and other diagnostics tools.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with natural gas engines, compressors, and electrical systems, plus a high school diploma or equivalent. A clean driving record and on-site Louisiana work location are expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas engines, compressors, electrical systems, panel boards, and skid wiring.
• Working knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations.
• Understanding of customer production equipment (scrubbers, on/off skid).
• Understanding of compressor package operation and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair on Caterpillar, Cummins, and Waukesha engines and compressors at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance to standard with minimal supervision.
• Provide strong customer service and communication.
• Utilize Cat ET, Cat SIS, Waukesha ESM, Ariel Performance Tool and Murphy Configuration Tool.
• Complete and submit required documentation on time using company software.
