Job summary

Elizabethtown Gas is seeking a skilled technician to perform construction and maintenance on its distribution systems in the field. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3:30 PM with on-call rotation and possible overtime based on needs.

The role involves installing mains and services, repairing leaks, and completing required paperwork. Must be able to lift 100 lbs, work in various weather, and hold a valid NJ driver’s license; DOT screenings apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction work.
• Familiar with the use of air tools and construction equipment.
• Valid NJ Driver’s License.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs construction and maintenance on distribution systems.
• Installation of mains and services.
• Repairs gas leaks.
• Valve lubrication and maintenance.
• First response to potential leaks and other gas-related emergencies.
• Complete all required paperwork for above tasks.
