Job Summary

Senior engineer responsible for planning and conducting engineering activities, utilizing advanced techniques, theories, and practical field experience. Responsible for making decisions on engineering problems and leading teams of field employees, technicians, and engineers.

Key Accountabilities

• Develops and manages complex projects and engineering assignments.
• Performs engineering studies, proposes solutions, and analyzes data for improvements.
• Collaborates with external departments, vendors, and reliability entities.
• Prepares and presents engineering projects to management and external parties.
• Plans and manages workflow to meet budgets and schedules.
• Mentors less experienced staff.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience with Synergi Gas hydraulic modeling.
• Familiarity with DNV products CMM, FMM, and Model Builder.
• Knowledge of DTE Gas's natural gas distribution system and Part 192 Gas Distribution.

Other Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
