Job summary

Delta Utilities seeks a field-connected engineer to lead the Distribution Integrity Management Plan (DIMP) for a designated region. The role combines technical analysis with regulatory compliance to mitigate system risks using advanced tools and company standards.

You will work with engineering and operations teams, travel regionally, and participate in audits to ensure continuous improvements in safety and reliability of the natural gas network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years' experience in utility design or related project construction design; more years for seniority.
• Familiarity with utilities, energy, or regulatory industries; ability to engage leaders and communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage DIMP implementation for assigned region(s).
• Analyze data and input to identify areas to reduce system risk.
• Attend and participate in regional distribution integrity management audits.
• Conduct regional DIMP meetings with subject matter experts.
• Assess new regulations and plan measures to address threats.
• Utilize and implement new software/tools to enhance integrity management.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to mitigate system threats.
• Travel regularly to interact with regions and adjust the plan cycle.
