Job summary

Paxon Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a Gas Distribution Inspector for a full-time, on-site role in Apple Valley, MN. You will oversee gas distribution construction activities, ensure safety standards, and coordinate with clients to maintain project quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. API 1169 certification is a plus, and overtime/per diem may be available based on distance from

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in pipeline inspection, industrial construction, and pipeline projects.
• Must be comfortable communicating with clients and providing excellent customer service.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and have excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of construction activities for gas distribution.
• Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
• Engage with clients and team members to conduct efficient operations.
• Inspect contractors’ duties on pipe replacement projects (squeezing, grounding, purging, PE pipe fitting ½”–8”).
• Complete and maintain Operator Qualifications for Paxon and clients.
