Job summary

Paxon Energy and Infrastructure Services is seeking a field-focused inspector to support gas distribution projects across Indiana. This project-based role requires thorough knowledge of construction activities, strict safety adherence, and the ability to deliver high-quality customer service in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in pipeline inspection, industrial construction, or pipeline construction.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and providing excellent customer service.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and have excellent attention to detail.
• API 1169 Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of gas distribution construction activities to projects.
• Ensure team adheres to the highest safety standards.
• Engage with clients and team members to conduct efficient operations.
• Maintain compliance with conduct standards, SOPs, and policies.
• Inspect contractors’ duties on pipe replacement projects including fitting installation.
• Complete and maintain Operator Qualifications for Paxon and clients.
• Exercise STOP WORK authority to prevent on-site mishaps.
• Document all activities in a timely manner.
