Job summary

The Gas Controller will report to the Manager of Midstream Operations and will be based in our Charleston, WV office. A successful candidate will monitor pressures and flows to maintain a safe pipeline system and will analyze data from SCADA systems to respond quickly.

Responsibilities include generating reports, communicating with field personnel, and documenting daily activities in the Gas Control logging system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Ability to work 12-hour shift rotations, day shift, every other weekend and holidays.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, OneNote).
• Cygnet SCADA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control pressures and flows to maintain a safe and efficient pipeline system.
• Analyze information and data retrieved in Gas Control via SCADA and other communications media.
• Communicate with field personnel and district offices via telephone and radio.
• Generate, publish and distribute reports via email.
• Document daily activities within the Gas Control logging system.
