Job summary

The Gas Controller will report to the Manager of Midstream Operations and will be based in our Charleston, WV office. A successful candidate will monitor pressures and flows to maintain a safe pipeline system and will analyze data from SCADA systems to respond quickly.

Responsibilities include generating reports, communicating with field personnel, and documenting daily activities in the Gas Control logging system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Ability to work 12-hour shift rotations, day shift, every other weekend and holidays.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, OneNote).
• Cygnet SCADA experience is a plus.

The Gas Controller will report to the Manager of Midstream Operations. A successful candidate will have experience monitoring and controlling pressure and flows to maintain a safe and efficient pipeline system. Ability to analyze, comprehend and react to information and data being retrieved in Gas Control via SCADA systems and other communications media. This role will sit in our Charleston, WV office.

• Document daily activities within the Gas Control logging system.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
• Must be available to work 12 hr shift rotations, day ight, every other weekend and holidays.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong MS Office products experience, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, OneNote
• Cygnet SCADA experience is a plus.
• Database or programming experience is a plus.
• Applicant will be subject to random drug and alcohol screening per D.O.T. and PHMSA requirements.
