Job summary

ShalePro Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Natural Gas Compressor Mechanic to maintain gathering system compressor stations, engines, and related equipment. You will perform field disassembly, reassembly and testing with manual, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read drawings, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Customer focused with good drive.
• Proficient English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Computer skills and basic Office knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to pass drug screens and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment at natural gas facilities.
• Safely operate equipment and perform overhauls on compressors and engines.
• Maintain documentation and daily reports for equipment.
• Identify safety and environmental hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with management on outages, PM schedules, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide training to staff on proper operation and maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Travel to various site locations; availability for weekends and overtime.
