Job summary

SEC Energy Products & Services L.P. seeks a maintenance professional to repair and service gas compression equipment in the Odessa, Texas region.

The role is rotational, requiring hands-on work with prime movers, compressors, valves, and related equipment in field and shop settings. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, scheduling outages, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining thorough records and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station equipment, plant facilities and pipeline facilities to meet production and throughput requirements.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, communicate, and coordinate work with employees and contractors to ensure safe, timely, and effective completion.
• Provide budgetary information, schedule outages, order materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate resources.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, OEM manuals and other technical resources for assigned work.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and portable equipment in hazardous and non-hazardous environments.
• Utilize precision measurement equipment to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain equipment records, logs, and regulatory documentation.
• Provide training and leadership to develop and maintain effective work crews.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and complete required tasks.
• Respond to on-call rotations and maintain safety procedures.
