Job summary

Lake Nona Wave Hotel seeks a friendly server to warmly welcome guests, share menu knowledge, and deliver outstanding service in our restaurant. You will ensure guest satisfaction and contribute to a welcoming dining atmosphere.

You will resolve guest requests, coordinate with kitchen and bar, handle orders and payments, and help create memorable moments that reflect CoralTree Hospitality's commitment to authentic experiences.

Qualifications

• Flexibility with workdays and hours.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcohol.
• Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required.
• Excellent English communication and guest interaction skills.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests enthusiastically.
• Recommend food & beverage menu items to guests.
• Take orders, deliver drinks, and process payments.
• Resolve guest complaints and build loyalty.

• Stock and organize inventory at server stations and bar.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically welcome guests into the restaurant.
• Share your knowledge and recommendations of the food & beverage menus to our guests.
• Utilize the freedom to go beyond and take initiative to resolve guest complaints and create loyalty.
• Create memorable experiences with your welcoming personality by genuinely relating to guests and team members.
• Communicate with the culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, special dietary needs, and any other special guest requests.
• Multi-task with an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Take orders, deliver drinks, and process payments.
• Stock and organize inventory at server stations and behind the bar.
• Assist bartenders with additional tasks as necessary.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Flexibility. This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
• Experience. Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol. Previous experience passionately providing food and beverage service to others preferred.
• Knowledge. Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required. Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred.
• People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
• Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing
• A qualified applicant is a “people person” who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi‑task while ensuring accuracy.
