Qualifications

Job description

Job Posting:

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Evaluate all types of samples, development, proto, fit, size set, jump size set, seal etc. with a feasibility study of product and risk analysis, timely identifying and resolving mass production impracticalities.
  • Evaluate vendors' facilities and capabilities based on new development before proceeding with the sample.
  • Closely follow up with the merchandiser for any new development/samples and review for any risk factors and required product safety, especially for youth wear.
  • Guide and monitor makers' technical team to maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Provide makers' technical team with the technical training and support to introduce and update sample handling SOP and time frame.
  • Support communications and facilitate issue resolution during bulk production with merchandising and quality management.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of garment fitting, pattern, relevant software, etc.
  • Self-motivated and well-disciplined to follow LWR SOP.
  • Able to work independently and act proactively.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal functions and vendor’s merchandising team.
  • Confident with a “Can do” attitude.
  • Solid experience (7 years) approving garment fit samples independently.
  • Language Proficiency: English and local language fluency in both oral and written communication.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

University Graduate / Diploma holder of Textile Clothing related subject.

Include but are not limited to:

  • Frequency of Travel: 30%
  • External communication required: 70%

    To ensure that processes are working not only on paper. To ensure that team members are diligently following the procedures, with no “short-cuts” taken, and records are “straight and clean” at any point in time.
