Job summary

Alsco Uniforms seeks a Garment Assembler to prepare clean garments for route delivery, identifying, inspecting, sorting, bundling and loading them according to route and customer. The role includes using RFID interfaces and following packing instructions, while maintaining safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.

Typical tasks include quality checks, loading garments for delivery, and assisting with other production duties as needed in a industrial laundry setting.

Qualifications

• Color and size recognition with accurate counting and loading.
• Ability to inspect and grade product while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to read labels and follow written packing instructions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve finished, clean garments from storage or rail system.
• Inspect for quality and route garments for mending if needed.
• Sort garments by route/customer and load onto rails or carts as instructed.
• Maintain packing instructions and ship garments to delivery areas on time.
• Operate with RFID interface to investigate and resolve assignments.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety standards.
