Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to manage garment inventories, verify orders, and prepare items for delivery. The role emphasizes accuracy in counting, packing, and reporting, with duties including processing contracts, inspecting quality, and maintaining stock records.

A reliable, detail-oriented candidate will thrive in our facility environment. You will work in a production-oriented laundry setting, handling garments, labels, and packing workflows while meeting safety standards

Qualifications

• Recognize colors and sizes with accuracy.
• Multi-task with a high degree of accuracy.
• Adequate computer skills or the ability to learn.
• Comprehend and follow written packing instructions or work orders.
• Comprehend and follow written and verbal direction.

Responsibilities

• Place garment orders using a computer, phone or fax and maintain inventory levels.
• Process new customer contracts to build correct inventories.
• Receive new garments from vendors and verify orders against invoices.
• Identify shortages or back orders and notify supervision.
• Inspect garments for quality and perform alterations as needed.
• Prepare labels and packaging per instructions, load into delivery carts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed.
