Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner in the Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department in Richmond, VA. You will help ensure quality by inspecting garments as they move through the steam tunnel, part of a 40-hour work week with weekends off.

On-the-job training is provided along with benefits like 401K match, health insurance, life insurance, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more. This is an entry-level production position with room for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions in standard units.

Responsibilities

• Count garments.
• Hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel.
• Visually inspect garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage.
• Ensure garments pass the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
