Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family in the Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department. You will inspect garments as you process them through the steam tunnel, helping ensure quality for our customers. We offer on-the-job training, a 40-hour work week, and weekends off.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for 8-hour shift.
• Able to read, write and communicate clearly with management.
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions using US standard units for weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Count garments.
• Hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel.
• Visually inspect garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage.
• Ensure all garments pass the UniFirst 20-point inspection process.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
