Job summary

Goodwill South Florida is seeking a QA Inspector to help improve product quality on the Miami manufacturing floor. You will inspect garments per work instructions, report findings, and collaborate with supervisors to reduce defects.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of US measurement systems and basic English; Spanish or Creole a plus. This is a full-time role in Miami with an hourly wage of $14.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to make good decisions and solve problems.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Must know the US metric system; basic English required.
• Spanish or Creole language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect government or commercial products per quality standards.
• Learn inspection processes for all products.
• Measure and visually inspect garments according to work instructions.
• Report findings and record findings per Quality Work Instructions.
• Must learn Exenta and ETON systems.
• Communicate findings to improve production quality.
• Prepare summaries of problem areas or operations.
• Provide suggestions to increase productivity while reducing errors.
