Job summary

Vestis is seeking an employee to join our industrial laundry team. The role focuses on safe, expeditious handling of merchandise into and out of the facility, including dressing shirts, hanging pants, and ensuring quality standards.

Ideal candidates understand training materials, can perform basic math, and communicate effectively. The position may involve weekend work and overtime in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat, dust, and noise.

Qualifications

• Understanding of training materials, written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring.

• Reliable attendance with adherence to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work station and materials for the shift.
• Transfer garments to appropriate hanging aids and dress shirts on hangers.
• Handle pants: manage waist, crease, and hanger placement.
• Identify repairs (tears, stains, missing buttons) and tag for repair.
• Place garments on open conveyors and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
