Job summary

Mahoney's Garden Center seeks a Customer Support Specialist in Falmouth to be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, text, social media, and our e-commerce platform. You will help with product information, order status, and policies, while coordinating with managers and subject‑matter experts to resolve issues promptly.

This role emphasizes excellent communication, plant knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries while maintaining accuracy and a friendly store

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a customer service or customer facing role required.
• POS or inventory management software experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• Basic plant care knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct customer inquiries across phone, text, email, social media, and e‑commerce.
• Inform customers about promotions, hours, pickup locations and policies.
• Process e‑commerce orders and provide status updates to customers.
• Transfer advanced inquiries to Store Level Management or subject matter experts.
• Support day‑to‑day store operations and assist customers and colleagues.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and high customer service standards.
