Terrestris LLC in Montgomery, AL is hiring for a groundskeeper on a 1-year contract. Pay starts at $20.18+ per hour; schedule 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. Locations: 215 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36109 and 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee, AL 36083.

Responsibilities include lawn mowing, trimming hedges, planting flowers, mulch installation, debris removal, and operating hand and power tools. Requires 3+ years gardening experience, OSHA 30-hour, ability to lift 50 lbs, and working at

• Use blowers to clean parking lots, sidewalks, and entrances.
• Dispose of trash in outdoor bins.
• Assist with weeding as needed.
• Install pine straw and/or mulch; prepare flower beds.
• Pickup leaves from all exterior surfaces.
• Cut grass with push lawn mowers.
• Trim hedges and shrubbery.
• Plant flowers as needed.
• Use hand and power tools common to the trade.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
• 3+ years of professional gardening experience and knowledge in construction field
• OSHA 30‑hour construction certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Work at heights and climb ladders
• Work in confined spaces, high temperatures, noisy environments
• Potential hazardous exposures (asbestos, machine parts, soot, etc.)
• Ability to safely function wearing a respirator (OSHA‑approved and fit‑tested)
• Standing and bending for long periods
• Previous experience with the VA is a plus
