Sperber Landscape Companies is seeking a diligent landscape maintenance team member in Honolulu, HI to keep landscapes green and healthy. Responsibilities include mowing, edging, trimming, irrigation checks, and daily tool maintenance under supervision.

Typical hours span early morning shifts; the role emphasizes safety, timely task completion, and reliable communication with the Account Manager and crew leaders. Training and weekly pay are provided along with benefits where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass and groundcovers as directed.
• Edge and trim lawns, hedges and ground covers.
• Trim low tree branches, fronds, and limbs.
• Use of various equipment and hand tools for routine maintenance.
• Assist with irrigation checks or repairs as assigned by Account Manager.
• Keep property free from unwanted vines and weeds.
• Plant as needed or assigned by Account Manager.
• Pull and remove weeds from the landscape at the root.
• Inspect and clean equipment daily.
• Wash and clean vehicles inside and out weekly.
• Perform shop duties as assigned by Crew Leader, Account Manager, and Operations Manager.
• Perform other related duties as required.

5 am to 1:30pm or 7am - 2:30pm

Requirements

Skills/Knowledge:

• Must know how to operate machinery or the ability to learn quickly
• Be able to follow instructions and safety procedures, including safety rules of operating equipment.
• Must have strong decision making and good supervisory skills.
• Good communication skills; verbally and written, required.
