The University of Richmond is seeking a full-time groundskeeper to perform skilled gardening and horticultural tasks across campus properties. This role requires practical knowledge of pruning, trimming, watering, fertilization, and pest control, plus safe operation of hand and power tools.
Candidates must have strong communication, a valid Virginia driver's license with at least three years driving history, and the ability to obtain a Virginia pesticide license within 90 days.

Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree Horticulture or related field preferred2-4 years prior gardening and landscape maintenance and/or training at a college, university, county, city or commercial facilityWORK HOURS:Full-time; non-exemptMonday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM, however, flexibility is required.All facilities employees are designated as essential personnel, are subject to work outside the normal work schedule on an emergency basis and are also subject to planned overtime work as required by the immediate supervisorSALARY STRUCTURE:Grade 3 Hourly ($17.61 to $21.13 per hour)
