Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of cooks and other associates engaged in preparing, cooking and serving food.
• Interviews, schedules, payroll, training and counseling of hourly kitchen staff.
• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes to meet schedules and service needs.
• Ensures proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Manages food use, waste and inventory through requisition and purchasing.
