British Garden Centres is seeking a Team Leader Plants for our busy garden centre in Alabama. The role is fast paced, customer-focused and hands-on, with duties including supervising staff, maintaining plant displays and assisting customers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of plant knowledge, experience in horticulture or retail, be physically fit for lifting, and possess strong people skills. Forklift training is a plus.

We are looking for a Team Leader Plants to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate should be physically fit as this is a very hands on role and some heavy lifting will be involved. Forklift truck license would be an advantage although not essential as training will be given.

Experience in building or similar retail experience is preferred.

2 years of plant knowledge a must, previous work within horticulture required.
