Job summary

Smith Gardens Inc. seeks a Merchandising Supervisor to lead live goods merchandising for Home Depot and Walmart Garden Centers in the territory.

You will supervise 15+ merchandisers, recruit, onboard, train, and manage safety and execution, and communicate merchandising directions to field teams to optimize the shopper experience and maximize sell-through. The role requires 3–5 years in management and merchandising, preferred nursery/bedding plant experience, smartphone clock-in, and a valid

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management / leadership experience.
• 3-5 years of merchandising experience.
• Nursery/bedding plants experience preferred.
• Smartphone required for clock-in/out (Android 8.0+/iOS 12+).
• Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and team-build a merchandising staff of 15+ for Home Depot and Walmart Garden Centers.
• Collaborate with merchandisers, store staff, and management to execute plans.
• Interact with customers and vendors professionally.
• Execute approved merchandising plans, layouts, and Plant-O-Grams.
• Use reports to manage labor and sales performance; monitor territory KPIs.
