Job summary

Botanic LLC in the United States is seeking a highly skilled Retail Garden Center Manager to lead our garden center and related outdoor settings. You will oversee daily operations, ensure plant health and display quality, and drive exceptional customer service.

You will lead a team, train staff for peak seasons, and maintain a safe, organized environment while delivering a memorable customer experience in a vibrant garden center setting.

Qualifications

Immediate Opening for a Highly Skilled Retail Garden Center Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to customers on plant care and product selection
• Manage daily operations of the retail garden center
• Ensure the care, health, and proper maintenance of all plant inventory
• Oversee the design, execution, and ongoing maintenance of plant displays and merchandising layouts
• Lead, train, and supervise a team of 10 employees or more during peak season
• Train staff on exceptional customer service and in-depth plant knowledge
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for staff and customers

Qualifications (Required)

• Experience working in a nursery, greenhouse, farm, or garden center
• Knowledge of plant identification, plant nutrition, and seasonal growing cycles
• Physical capability to lift 25+ lbs. and perform prolonged standing or other physical tasks
• Passion for excellent customer service and team leadership

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field
• Management experience in a related industry
• Familiarity with local growing conditions
• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
