Job summary

Greenhouse Gardens is hiring a Garden Center - General Labor & Customer Service Associate to join our team. You will help unload deliveries, stock displays, assist customers with plant selection, and keep the garden center neat and welcoming.

We value a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather. Weekend availability and reliable transportation are preferred. Training provided for motivated individuals.

Qualifications

Experience in retail or nursery preferred but training available.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
Positive attitude, good work ethic, and customer focus.
Weekend availability required.
Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Assist with unloading deliveries, stocking benches and displays with plants, organizing inventory, watering plants, and maintaining outdoor displays.
Greet customers, assist with product recommendations, assist with directing customers to plant locations in the garden center, help customers load and unload carts and vehicles and ensure a positive experience
Assist with labeling/ pricing plants, keeping the garden center neat, clean, and visually appealing. Rotate stock as needed and remove damaged plants.
Assist with unloading fruit and vegetable deliveries, stocking coolers and fruit and vegetable displays. Keeping all areas of fruit and vegetable handling and displays clean and visually appealing.
