POSITION SUMMARY

Garden Center Associates are an integral part of our Garden Center. The associates are responsible for assisting customers, caring for plants as well as Garden Center upkeep. The technicians get plant orders ready for our installation crews on a daily basis. We are looking for people who enjoy working with people, plants, and the great outdoors. This can be a very physical, hands‑on position and requires weekday and some weekend hours. This is a part time, hourly position.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

• Some retail and/or horticulture experience preferred
• Bobcat operation experience or willingness to learn is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must maintain regular and reliable attendance, some holidays and weekend availability required
• Exposed to exterior elements (i.e. pollen, chemicals, cold and heat, etc.)
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Requires extended periods of activity (walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting)

• Wage starting at $15.00, based on experience
