Job summary

The Garden Assistant supports daily garden operations, including planting, watering, pruning, weeding, mulching, and general landscape maintenance across garden beds, indoor plant care and outdoor areas. Responsibilities include monitoring plant health, identifying pests or diseases, and reporting issues to the lead gardener or garden manager. The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, keeping work areas clean and safe, and assisting with seasonal projects such as soil preparation, composting, and installation of new plantings. The Garden Assistant collaborates with the team to ensure the garden is well-presented for visitors, events, and clients, and may occasionally support inventory tasks such as tracking supplies and materials.
