Job summary

VPNE is seeking a Garage Valet Attendant in Boston, MA to greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles in a safe, courteous manner within a garage or similar facility.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm. Must be friendly, able to read/write English, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass background checks. A valid driver's license is required; driving a manual transmission may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and outgoing.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
• Must pass background check and RMV check.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License in the state of residency.

• Continuously safely operate vehicles to minimize the potential for accidents.
• Keep track of keys and cars throughout the garage.

The role of the Garage Valet Attendant is to make a fantastic impression on every guest by engaging with our guests and customers in a positive and friendly manner and being responsible for parking and retrieving their vehicles in a parking garage or similar facility safely.

Requirements:

• Ability to run and move quickly
• Ability to organize cars efficiently
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid Driver’s License in the state of residency
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check
• Ability to create relationships with customers
• Be organized
• Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE’s current insurance provider
